Well done 1V students!

All of the students of 1V did a great job at Assembly Prayer this morning! It was the culmination of a thoughtful week's preparation and in depth discussions about our school's Respect Rules.

Reading parts are voluntary at this stage of the year, as some of the children are still gaining confidence with their public speaking and reading in general. Eventually though, each child will have a chance to do some reading at our Monday Assemblies.
God Bless,
Isabelle

1V CIRCUS!

The 1V Circus was a spectacular success!

Thank you to everyone for all of your support and help during the preparations.

It was a terrific culmination of a wonderful and challenging unit for the students, which helped them to develop their skills as quality producers and community contributors.

Thank you also for your donations, all of which will go to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal 2009, as requested by the students of 1V.

Photos from the event will be made into a class book and will be available for borrowing from the library next term.

thank you for your support!

A big thank you to Mr and Mrs Porter for their kindness this week in sending me a gorgeous bunch of flowers in appreciation of my work as Adam's teacher.
Your generosity of spirit touched my heart.

YOGA KIDS!

1V students do Yoga every Wednesday morning. It helps them with their Gross Motor Skills development and also teaches them how to breathe, which opens up the lungs; pumps oxygen through the blood and helps them to learn more effectively.
Well done girls and boys, you are talented Yoga Kids!
